AzMonitor (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). We may also collect your company name and job title.

Monitor Configuration

URLs, IP addresses, and endpoints you configure for monitoring. HTTP headers and request bodies you provide for checks.

Usage Data

Check results, response times, uptime percentages, and incident logs. Browser type, IP address, and pages visited on azmonitor.com.

Billing Information

Payment is processed by Stripe. We store only the last 4 digits of your card, expiry, and billing address. We never store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide, operate, and improve the AzMonitor service
Send alert notifications you have configured
Process payments and send invoices
Respond to support requests
Send product updates and security notices (opt-out available)
Analyze aggregate usage to improve the platform

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Stripe — payment processing
AWS / OCI — infrastructure hosting
Notification providers (Twilio, SendGrid) — alert delivery
Legal authorities — when required by law

4. Data Retention

Monitor check data is retained for 13 months on paid plans and 30 days on the free plan. Account data is retained until you delete your account. After deletion, data is purged within 30 days.

5. Security

We use TLS 1.2+ for data in transit, AES-256 for data at rest, and role-based access controls. We are SOC 2 Type II certified.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing or restrict it

8. Children

AzMonitor is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
